Shopping Deals Sites

As an avid online shopper, I'm always looking for those amazing "I can't believe how much I saved" deals. There are many sites that claim to have "deals," but more often than not, you visit their site and find out that they are just out to make money by having you click through to a kickback site. Real deal sites do exist, however, and here are some of the best:

Techbargains.com got me into this whole dealsite obsession. They recently changed their interface and I'm not sure whether I like them or not. Not surprisingly, they tend towards techie items, but they do have a fair number of non-techie deals from places like Amazon.com. Techbargains does not appear to update as often as some other sites.

Slickdeals.net has a hardcore feel to it. It's not the prettiest site, but I like that about it - it makes me feel like I'm really getting a good, only in the know deal. The deals are updated throughout the day and I check back often in order to make sure that I don't miss anything good. Today, they are sporting some Dell deals (which tend to clog these types of sites), a cheap flashlight from Lowe's and a coupon for free RW CDs. What's cool about this site is that when you click on a deal, you get instructions on how to actually get it. It tells you which coupon codes to use, how to get to the item, the while nine yards.

Spoofee.com has a slicker feel than Slickdeals.com (there's irony for you) and they have a real variety. Today, they have the previously mentioned deal on CDs, as well as a free sample of Trojan Mint Tingle condoms (which sound scary) and a 2GB SD card for $22.00.

Dealunion.com is an ok site. They claim to be the most frequenty updated site, but this just isn't true (which makes me rather suspicious). They have pretty pictures of the products, though. AND you can search deals by store or category.
